Day 2 began with a devo from Chellie and her encouraging us to use our talents for God's glory. We also did some work on our crafts for day 1 of our Fun-N-Bible. This time was a blessing for our team as we just got to sit around, work and prepare, all while not having anything too strenuous the first morning after our arrival.
Following our craft time, we had lunch down by the Liffey river here at the cottages we are staying at which was followed by a devo from Jacob in which he shared how the Lord ministered to him on the flight to Ireland.
The early afternoon was spent "on the doors." We went door to door in a community handing out flyers for the upcoming camp that starts Monday. This was a really fun time for us as some of the kids from the church met up with us and helped us hand out the flyers. It was really sweet getting to know them and spend some time out in the community.
Our evening concluded with "Flourish" which is Calvary Chapel Dublin's youth ministry. We had a really fun night filled with pizza, worship, a short devo and some fellowship. Please be praying that kids would come to the youth camp next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Praise report: the 2 missing bags arrived today!
That's all for day 2. Tomorrow we head out on the doors again and then to Mental Hospital for the criminally insane.
