Our journey began Wednesday at 4:00 AM as we met at the church to pack the vans and pray before heading to LAX. Our flight for Charlotte departed at 8:30, and after a quick layover we were off to Dublin. We landed at around 6:30 AM Thursday morning and had a couple of delays: sitting on the plane a bit before being able to get off and 2 missing bags, currently still in Charlotte...which Lord willing will arrive tomorrow.
After finally getting through customs and reporting our missing luggage we were greeted by the Tebbe family along with Kaylee Kissack who is here interning with Calvary Chapel Dublin for the summer. It was such a blessing to see bright, smiling, familiar faces after a long day of travel.
We set off to run errands: car rental, bank, lunch, and grocery shopping before we headed to the Tebbe home for a nice home cooked dinner. Needless to say, we are all exhausted yet I'm sure some on our team will have a hard time going to sleep due to it still being light outside, even at 10:00 PM!
Tomorrow we will go door to door handing out flyers for next weeks Fun-n-Bible in the afternoon. In the evening, our team will meet spend time with Flourish, CCD's youth group as we worship with them, share God's word and encourage them to bring friends to next weeks outreach.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read our blog, follow along with our journey, and pray for us. We appreciate it more than we could ever express!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, we'll make sure to try and add more as we go!
Here is one from outside our cottages :)
