Why are you going on this trip?
I am going to Ireland because I want the whole world to hear about Jesus! Irish people need Jesus. All people need Jesus! I want to live out Matthew 24:14, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come."
What is your favorite Bible verse?
My favorite bible verse is: Philippians 1:9-11 "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
What is something interesting about you?
Something interesting about me is that I swam at night with sharks!
What is a favorite childhood memory that you have?
A favorite childhood memory I have is when my family surprised my three sisters and I with a trip to Disneyland for Easter one year. We were all dressed in lime green and definitely stood out in the park! The Jungle Cruise had a couple of jokes for us but it was so much fun!
When did you give your life to the Lord and how?
I gave my life to the Lord when I was little but I really didn't make a decision to truly follow Him until I was in junior high.
How do you want to be used/how do you anticipate being used on this trip?
I want to be used in any way possible! The Lord always challenges me in new and different ways on mission trips so I am open to whatever He has for me. 2 Timothy 4:5 is a verse that I love and want to live out on this trip: "But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
Prayer Request:
Please pray for protection against attacks from the enemy. Ireland is hard ground and it is easy to get discouraged! Also, pray that the children would not only feel the love of God but also see their need for it.
