Why are you going on this trip?
I went on my first oversees mission trip last summer and found my heart for missions. I am in a season in my life where I have time to fully engage in ministry and I feel like the Lord opened this door to to go to Ireland to grow me by serving His people.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
Philippians 4:6-7 & 1 Timothy 1:7-9
What is something interesting about you?
From the age of five until my sophomore year in high school I wanted to become the first women president of the United States.
What is a favorite childhood memory that you have?
Some of my favorite childhood memories were all the times that my dad would take my family on drives. We did not always have an destination but I blame those drives for my love of Los Angeles and my strong desire to also go somewhere during my free time.
When did you give your life to the Lord and how?
I gave my life to the Lord when I was four. I remember asking my parents if I could pray and accept the Lord in my life in my living room and in highschool I rededicated my life to the Lord.
How do you want to be used/how do you anticipate being used on this trip?
I want the Lord to grow my heart and love for all of His people, but especially for the teenager because my ministries that I serve in are with preschool age children. I also want the Lord to grow my compassion and heart for these kids who have grown up in a tough culture. The Lord has pushed me out of my comfort zone so much this past year and I know that He will continue that growth on this trip.
Prayer Requests:
I pray that the Lord will break my heart for what breaks His and gives me His eyes to see this culture as He sees them. I pray that I can be vessel for Him to use and to bring glory to Him. I pray for unity for our team as we prepare for and while in Ireland and protection against any attacks from the enemy.
